Thread: 2006 Peachies Nominations - Thread of the Year

Slammer - 1/26/2007 at 05:50 PM

Here is the thread you can nominate the "Thread of the Year" for the upcoming 2006 Peachies. Feel free to reference as many Threads as necessary. If someone already nominated a Thread you feel is Peach worthy, go ahead and second that nomination.

We'll take nominations for the next week and a half (until Feb 5th). A few days before the official voting period (Feb 13 - 19th), the presenter of this award and I will pick the 5 or 6 Threads that received the most nominations so we can include them on the official ballot. Try and keep this bumped for the next week or so to garner as many nominations as possible. Happy nominating

That second one started out kind of slow, when it was still about Sang, but it sure hit it's stride a few pages in.

Seconded. I'm almost sorry that I'm guilty of purveying more cheesecake than Sara Lee. I am sorry it's not an orientation-inclusive thread, but it seems the "Big Daddy" thread provides some kind of hot-'n'-botherment for the ladies.

Agreed. I'm all for integration in most matters, but I find "separate but equal" still to be good practice when it comes to adolescent drooling over ojbets d'sex.

Understood. However, I welcome everyone to Big Daddy's, not just the ladies. And the gentlemen who are "brave" enough to stop by and post provide most of the entertainment. LOL!

SantaCruzBlues - New Orleans or Bust....

Allen pulled up stakes in California, living a very comfortable life, to go to New Orleans to assist in rebuilding. He risked alot and through this thread. he keeps us updated. I'm very proud of Allen and feel he deserves a nod. I don't know many people who would sacrifice as much as he has to do this. This is a man of great character, imo.

TopDroog - 2/5/2007 at 07:33 PM

I think that may have had a couple of nods in the "post of the year" category.

No1ToRunWith - 2/5/2007 at 07:36 PM

I nominated that for post of the year

Seconded, or if Pete's was the first second (and at first I thought I saw a second "on" ), thirded.

Like many threads in the "Anything Goes" section, "Art Museums" gets shoved into the back pages pretty quick, so here's the link:

Linnie, I bet some of the other folks are only thinking of the copy post windsinger put in some "Anything Goes" thread. At the same time, though, you guys, she started a big thread in the "Duane" section, to which she continues to contribute a unique perspective to things, besides some amazing, bittersweet details everybody's been wondering about for decades.
