Thread: Mrac Ford to join Ben Harper

confusedcrowe - 7/17/2003 at 04:34 AM

Some of you may know Marc Ford from his days as the lead ax man for The Black Crowes from 92-97. This guy is an amazing lead player and he has sort of been lost by the wayside since his departure from the Crowes. News is that Marc will now join Ben on his US Europe and Japan tours. This guy is the real deal. A guitarist in the same vein of Mick Taylor, Stevie Ray, and Hendrix. If Ben Harper comes through your area go check him out. Peace to y'all Confused.

I caught Ben in Raleigh on the East coast leg of the tour. I walked away forever a huge Ben Harper fan. I can't wait to see Ben with Marc, when they come back thru, since I've never seen Marc live before, and he's one of my fave guitarists.

He's been playing with Blue Floyd and has a solo album. (Its very good)

Glad he's hooked up with Ben.

Peace
John
