O yea, I had forgotten about that, they called themselves Job Cain or something along the lines of that. Wondering if Audley will make an appearance at tomorrow's Raleigh show.

I last saw Audley with Blue Floyd when they did the beatlejam shows.
It was really good.

Peace
John

Found out he has moved to Nashville, so I imagine he's absorbing some of that music scene.

there is a thread on this over at www.blackcrowes.org message board...i think the heading is ABB 8/10 review or something.

crowesmule - 8/18/2003 at 07:28 PM

Thanks. I checked out that thread at the black crowes site.

The_Newt - 8/19/2003 at 06:26 AM

2/27/02.

He's "officially" back w/ Chris Robinson in CR's New Earth Mud. Original members (brothers Paul & Jeremy Stacey) have moved on,opening the door for Audley.
Check out www.newearthmud.com for more. They will be opening for the Bros. ;later this summer on at least 1 confirmed date for now.

Sweet! Audley Freed is awesome! Though, Paul Stacey is too. I expect some sweet jams at bonnaroo 'cuz New Earth Mud is playing and so is Gov't Mule.

He played with them in Raleigh in 2002, I'm almost positive...It was on Southbound.

MuleMe - 10/23/2005 at 03:25 PM

The Crows are playing NYE at the Garden in NYC.....hope this means he'll be in town and show up for the Mule show on the 29th & 30th......nothing like a Audley & Warren "30 Days in the Hole"!!!!!

UNCLEJON75 - 1/18/2006 at 09:36 AM

NC in the house!!!!!!!!

andrewduffel - 4/24/2006 at 10:00 PM

He was playing with Steve Gorman around from the Crowes (before Steve went back in the middle of the tour last year) in Nashville at The Family Wash club every week and doing session work. He sits in with Mule almost every time they are in Nashville, he sat in and played Sugaree with them at the Ryman in november and played with them last saturday at the Rites of Spring Festival at Vanderbilt. I think he is amazing. Everyone should check out his Cry Of Love albums.

He's now in the Dixie Chicks band.

appalachiaRK - 1/24/2010 at 03:09 PM

Have enjoyed seeing Audley at Warren`s Christmas Jams in years past. I very much enjoyed seeing him guest with Panic for two songs in Nashville on 10/14/09. Allman Brothers shared the stage and opened. Audley and Jimmy Herring really tore it up !!
My brother saw Audley the other night in a small club in Nashville. He was playing lead guitar for Keith Gattis. I`m hoping he quests with Warren and the MULE this coming Thursday at the Ryman in Nashville.

Southbound Again........R.K.
