Thread: ULTIMATE Beacon scenario...3/26(DB&CL)

This is my fantasy...tell me what yall think!

My dream for the end of this already ridiculous run(been gettin' my Moogis on bigtime...everyshow!) On 3/26...Dickey Betts shows up for the entire night and the incomparable Chuck Leavell too! The band gives Derek and Warren a break for the evening and the boys tackle Brothers and Sisters/Win, Lose or Draw material!!! Could you effin' imagine if DB and CL did show and they played Jelly, Jelly!? And on top of it all, Gregg FINALLY sings(as an encore) the beautifully mournful Win, Lose or Draw!!!!! Oh yeah, throw in a disgustingly hypnotic and spacey High Falls. What do you think!? I'd better be wearing my brown tighty-whiteys that night b/c I'd definitely mess myself. Of course, this isn't going to happen b/c I personally believe Brother Dickey isn't going to show. It's fun to fantasize, though!

How could you possibly not want the chance to hear Dickey and Derek on IMOER?

Icing on the fantasy, throw in BB King and Robben Ford that night!

I think for the show on the 26, Dickey should show up once again & they should play the first few albums in there entirety, those being: Allman Brothers band, Idlewild South, At Fillmore East, Eat A Peach, & Brothers and Sisters. That'd be a hell of a show!! Not sure that would happen, but it'd be worth seeing. Wish I could've been there to see Buddy Guy jamming with them.

If anything I would want to see Dickey with Warren and give Derek the night off or just have all three of them play. The Dickey/Warren combo is what got me hooked on the ABB in the first place.
