Thread: Psychological help needed

Can someone please explain why a 55 year old man who has been seeing the ABB for 39 years is as giddy as a little kid while waiting to get to the Beacon next Friday night?

spiv - 3/13/2009 at 04:27 PM

For the same reason that the only time a 45 year old man has a smile on his face is when he's sitting in the Beacon on opening night.

sheep - 3/13/2009 at 04:27 PM

Sounds perfectly normal to me

ThePeteMan - 3/13/2009 at 04:32 PM

Does four of us mean it's an epidemic?

halfskin - 3/13/2009 at 04:33 PM

Giddy is something we should aspire to these days with everything swirling around us lately!
ENJOY THE MOMENT

michaelsio - 3/13/2009 at 04:35 PM

rottinpeach - 3/13/2009 at 04:45 PM

Must be the same thing that makes a tom cat fight all night.

Nor the other 61 year old from Denver. I thought I'd subscribe to moogis and catch the shows whenever but it is Must See tv now.

greggswoman - 3/13/2009 at 08:35 PM

Watch and/or listen to a show on Moogis every four hours and call me in the morning.

No charge.

This is by far the funiest thread that I have seen.

I guess it's cause I identify with it says a 51 year old man!

thebowl - 3/13/2009 at 10:43 PM

Sounds pretty normal to me. I plan to celebrate my 55th there (3 days late) on the 21st.

adsva - 3/13/2009 at 11:05 PM

I'm not seeing a problem (says the 55 year old man) ;)
Nor does the 61-year-old man! ;)
Nor does the 54 year old woman and her 64 year old husband

gina - 3/14/2009 at 12:36 AM

Could be case of o.p.d., o-boy peach disorder, which is this thing some people seem to have; though they don't think they are sufferring, they make others suffer with relentless pursuit of preserving a certain music. They rigidly refuse to change with the times and keep playin' them old Allman Brothers songs. When new technology came along, they even demanded the old music be put on compact discs. There's just no stoppin' these fan-addicts. Some think they are cult-like with their love and loyalty to Duane, but those afflicted don't seem to mind at all. Once a year they are indulged with group therapy for a month at the Beacon theatre.

JimSheridan - 3/14/2009 at 12:39 AM

Because no other band on the freaking PLANET is serving it up so damned hot and nasty right now. WOW! They smoked so hard last night, it is unreal.
