Thread: Beacon Security

In years past Beacon Security hs been a bit of an oxymoron but I dont like to take chances. Anyone go to the first two? Was the door still just quick pat?
Thanks
Trif

I was at the first two shows and security was borderline pornographic with the search coming through the doors.

However, a few strategically placed nips of vodka can never be found tucked into the inside of your shoes!

But seriously, they patted down pretty much everything...hips, back, and legs all the way down to the tops of shoes.

Will they allow a camera to be brought in?

We went to the show last night....they patted you down going in but nothing more than a quick shot. I had a camera, box of gum, glasses, phone, wallet, and keys....all were in my pants and jacket...they didnt ask me to take anything out at all. I thought it was pretty standard.

inside....the doors opened and the place was going strong. From where we were on the lodge there were no problems at all. Plenty of smoke in the air also and I didn't see much security presence. I thought it was worse at Mule New Years two years ago.

I wish they had a "talking during the show" police. Shut up already when the music is on.

They were there. A friend of mine got asked to stop doing his thingon the 13th Didn't get into any trouble just a warning shot. Too bad because the theater smells like fresh paint. They didn't ask people to stop video taping from their cell phones or mini video cameras (Flip).

guy in front of us last night got kicked out for smoking a cig...he and his buddies were leaning over and talking to each other the entire show. very obnoxious.

I don't know what I fond more **** ing obnoxious anymore .... The constant talking during shows or the constant cell phones in the air and texting ....

You paid good money for this concert:

Shut the **** up and put the goddamned cellphone away.

I second that.

I didn't find them to be a problem at all last night...of course we were tucked in the corner under the Loge. But there was some sort of altercation going on at the end of the isle and all I heard was one of the security guys say repeatedly was "calm down, clam down"
