Thanks, now I can see how he was not in sync with the band...

His licks sounds pretty good though, a change of pace from Derek

The user is Wharfomatic.... how did he rip the video? What software did he use or did he just put a camera up in front of the monitor?

Here is what Rowland has to say on the topic:

We are really, really thrilled by the response to the shows and to Moogis -- but please, no Youtube or other video "sharing" -- if you want to see the shows, including archived versions of last night's (and every night's) show, join Moogis!

The video and audio are copyrighted and it is not legal to film and share.

Thanks!

Rowland

So, it looks like this year will be different due to Moogis.

Well, since it was the Mt Jam web site I thought they had an ok. I guess Moogis will have to do some follow up to get what appears on You Tube off it. Now I may know not to post a link, but that won't stop others from posting them. Moogis will have to do their own enforcement at the source of the infringement. I personally didn't even view them as I was there night one and saw night two on Moogis. I just thought it was nice for people who weren't there to see the footage, which is why I posted the link to the Mt Jam site. And remember since Mt Jam is Warren's baby, so it just seemed like they were ok in posting the videos and frankly, I bet none of you know if in fact they did have approval or not.

Just mentioning this. I don't care either way. It's all good from my perspective. I am of the mind that any publicity is good publicity so that if there are a few videos up on You Tube, it can only help the sale of all those tickets that would otherwise go in the dumpster. But like I say, that is my thinking on the matter.

I did just go to the direct link to the video on You Tube. It was upped by just anyone. The Mt Jam site picked it up I am sure to help just get the word out about the shows and to share. It is the person who upped the video that needs to be sent a letter or You Tub needs to be contacted to take it down. Moogis will have to do that.

No Angelemerald,

It's not all good, as somebody ripping Moogis off. If Butch or the ABB wanted publicity for either Moogis or the Beacon shows then I think THEY (and ONLY THEY) could post videos of the shows at whatever sites they wanted. Anyone else doing so, is ripping the ABB off. About the only thing worse than the ripoff guys, is the 'ethically challenged" people such as yourself that come onto sites like this and try and justifty what these people are doing. But that's just my thinking on this matter.

Angelemerald - 3/12/2009 at 06:09 PM

I can see your point - however, it isn't my call to enforce anything related to Moogis and other people posting videos they ripped off from the Moogis Broadcasts. Moogis will have to do what they will have to do.
