What are the rumors for this Friday as far as guests? Anyone know?

fensranger - 3/11/2009 at 06:25 PM

I believe march 13th is the anniversary date of the famous live at the fillmore east concert. perhaps no guests, just playing a solid piece of that show might be great, or some guests that participated in that famous evening in the band's history!!!!!

TheBigShow - 3/11/2009 at 06:28 PM

Alice Cooper? Marlyn Manson? Elisja Blue Feat. Deadsy?

WarEagleRK - 3/11/2009 at 06:29 PM

It will be a hair band day with Bret Michaels, Tommy Lee, Dee Snyder & all the guys from Winger sitting in with the band.

I can't think of anything more frightening for Friday the 13th.

Brock - 3/11/2009 at 06:33 PM

Corea, McLaughlin, Stanley Clark. This is only a guess!

TheBigShow - 3/11/2009 at 06:34 PM

It took you 4 years to make that post? lol

snake12 - 3/11/2009 at 06:39 PM

YES FRIDAY SHOULD BE A JAM FEST

sleeper - 3/11/2009 at 06:43 PM

I was thinking the same thing. It took me four years to make that post so I could be subjected to your wit. Good for you! Glad you can count.

As scary as that sounds, I know Dee Snider is local (long Island) and Tommy Lee is in town w/ the Crue to play the Garden. Expect the unexpected ABB playing "War Pigs"???

since the guys from winger are all studio musicians that would be cool. kip winger played with alice cooper and bob dylan before forming winger and drummer rod morgenstein played in the dixe dregs prior to winger and is now a drum teacher at berklee school for the performing arts which is like the yale/harvard of performing arts schools. don't seem like a bunch of slouchs to me

brofan - 3/12/2009 at 04:53 AM

Or Jason Sehorn.

I have never heard that Kip Winger played with Bob Dylan. When was this?

So maybe the Brothers can rip into "She's Only Seventeen".

Maybe a smooth transition into "Good Morning Little School Girl"

he plays bass on a few tracks on dylan's "down in the groove" album. he was also a studio bass player for atlantic records from around 1983-1988 and plays bass or sings background vocals on about 20 albums. also plays bass on a jordan rudess (dream theater) album from a few years ago. he could handle bass on an allman brothers tune probably pretty easily seeing how skilled most studio musicians are. that being said he's never going to appear with ABB

WarEagleRK - 3/12/2009 at 11:19 PM

I never realized it, but you are right. I pulled the "Down In The Groove" CD and Kip Winger played on one track, "Had A Dream About You Baby".

Even more amazing is that Kip Winger and Eric Clapton both play on that track, and I would have never thought that those two would have played together.

You learn something new every day.

Well if there are a lot of superstitious people who don't want to come out, invite some locals. Soullive is really, really good.

kip was supposed to play bass on some clapton tracks around the same time but there was a conflict with atlantic records leasing kip to clapton. he's a lot more respected as a musician than some think

PeachyHeidi - 3/13/2009 at 06:03 AM

How about just ABB tonight with Jabuma?
That would def. be fun
