Thread: Warren's Gibson Custom Shop guitars for Big House auction

dmccabe - 10/24/2014 at 03:48 AM

For those aware, Warren has been playing some special Gibson Custom Shop guitars during this Beacon Run, made specifically for the Big House auction. You can tell which ones they are, by the white pick guards. All of Warren's usual guitars do NOT have pick guards, so if you see him playing one with a pick guard, that is one of the guitars for the auction. All the guitars will be played though out the run. There are twelve different guitars.

From Tuesday night:

Nice gesture. I recently purchased one of Warren's signature LP Custom Shop guitars and while expensive not as expensive as those.

You could almost get a balcony ticket on closing night for what one of these babies cost! Almost.

How much will these guitars go for? Just curious.

Anyone know any info on this?

Anyone manage to get one?

I contacted The Big House, no reply, so maybe they all got snapped up.

I'm sure I could not afford one, but for some reason I am really curious as to how much they went for.

Really cool concept !

They were 20K.

Meet and greet type thing with Warren before the show.
Tax deductible donation to the Big House.
and ur choice of several different Les Pauls.....cherry sunburst....goldtop.....lemonburst etc

Im fairly certain all of them went.

It's been a few months - anyone hear anything about these? Did they much....etc? I didn't even bother pursuing at the time because I figured they'd be in the 10's of k's.
