Thread: SOLD. FS below cost: 2 Center Orch Seats (Row R) for Saturday 3/13

InTheOffice - 3/9/2010 at 07:03 PM

These are available for personal delivery in Manhattan or downtown Brooklyn; hard tickets, currently in hand. 150 for the pair.

I hope someone out here can make use of these - and get me out of the doghouse with my wife for buying this extra pair without the consent of she who must be obeyed! <smile>

My references as a bonafide ABB fan are available on request.

Many thanks!

I can't help but to wonder if it's a sign of the times that despite an offer to sell some nice orchestra seats _below_ cost - and for a Saturday night no less - that I've not had a single response.

Is it the location of the show?

The economic climate?

Concern about the possible quality of the show?

A host of other reasons?

Perhaps these tickets will go unused; I suspect that the financial loss won't be the worst thing which will ever happen to me, and I still hope to attend another show for which I have seats. But the lack of response is surprising. And, in a certain way for this long time fan, sad. I can't help but to feel that on some level it represents the end of an era.

Best regards, and my hopes for a great run at the UP,
Ito

That made me laugh, but the reality is that I have had some plans thrust upon me which I really can't avoid. My first ABB show was at MSG in - I think - 1975. I am pretty secure in my devotion to the band, so it's not really a pulling up the pants issue. Besides which, my wife and I will be attending on the 19th - the one year anniversary of the first of last year's Clapton shows. So it's all fine with her.

To a point, anyway.

<laugh>

Best,
Ito

PS: When was anyone else's first show? Anyone have their stubs from those "early" days?

I'm checking to see if my brother can go. Are they still available. Where are the seats located?

PM me with details and a phone number.

My deep thanks to all who had interest, and for the dialog in this thread. These seats have been sold.

May they all be great shows!
