Thread: If Roy Moore wins....

OriginalGoober - 11/22/2017 at 02:20 PM

What does that say about the democratic party? The media has invested an astounding amount of airtime on these allegations.

Its the party, stupid.

MartinD28 - 11/22/2017 at 02:25 PM

hey goob, do you believe these 9 women are fabricating this against honorable Roy? Would you want Roy around your children or grandchildren?

OriginalGoober - 11/22/2017 at 02:39 PM

Very strange that he ran previous races and not a shred of allegations were aired. Also the accuser will not release the yearbook for analysis. Why? These are 40 year old charges that makes this difficult.

Times have changed, and of recent more women are not afraid to come forward against political and Hollywood types. Roy allegedly told several of the young girls that he was a district attorney and that no one would believe them. Back years ago, can you not understand how young girls would have felt threatened by that?

You didn't answer the questions from previous post. Do you believe Roy, or do you have compassion and believe 9 women?

You're also cherry picking one item from one of 9 accusers? Got any problems with the other 8? Please list your problems with them.

I get that you're carrying water for the GOP (Groping Old Pedophiles).

I can’t imagine being so bothered by a political party that will be around for the rest of my life. Great plan.

What does it say about them? It says they have difficulty overcoming the obstacle of people supporting a pedophile.

What is difficult. The man said he does not date girls without the permission of the mom. How many times in your 30s did you ask a Mom's permission to date a girl?

OriginalGoober - 11/22/2017 at 06:23 PM

Well, whats better than letting the people of Alabama decide? In a way even with the lack of any criminal charges he is on trial and the jury will be the AL voters. That seems fair.

BillyBlastoff - 11/22/2017 at 06:54 PM

I was going to buy a handmade leather money clip/wallet today. Then I saw the manufacturer was an Alabama business. Seeing as Alabama is the 4th most welfare dependent State in the country, I figure they get enough of my money and cancelled my order.

I really like the wallet and might reconsider if the State doesn't elect a pedophile.

pops42 - 11/22/2017 at 07:08 PM

Interracial marriage was banned in alabama until 2000. another fun fact about alabama.

BrerRabbit - 11/22/2017 at 07:11 PM

You got it all wrong, the emperor supports women:

"Women are very special," said Trump, who has himself faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. "I think it's a very special time, a lot of things are coming out, and I think that's good for our society and I think it's very very good for women and I'm very happy."

What does this even mean? The cheerleading squad has no choice but to triple down on this bluff - the guy is gonzo.

From same thing on news we all heard last night, I love this:

"And I do have to say 40 years is a long time," Trump added, noting that the women "are Trump voters."

LOL! WTF? ok so the women "are Trump voters". Wow, what is the point of adding this comment?

Good stuff, bro rabbit.

I picked up on this yesterday when the Soviet Guy in the WH made those statements. Everything he said was disjointed. When he speaks impromptu, he's awful...unless giving a stump speech when he can repeat angry lines & throwing red meat.

Trumpy repeated how many times that Roy denied it? That's Trump's justification - shallow as it is. First daughter, Ivanka had much harsher words for Roy, the child lover.

Is Roy still hanging out at shopping malls trolling little girls?

Not even close. Trump carried Alabama 62% to 34% for Clinton in 2016. The fact that a Democrat might win is because a few Republicans in Alabama have a conscie

"conscie"

The voters of Alabama will decide while their football team will continue to win.
Nothing else matters.

Now we will all wait for you to learn to spell.

There is no point....Trump is simply the most inarticulate individual to occupy the White House in the history of the institution. If it weren't for his daddy's money, he surely would never had been accepted into the elite prep, secondary, and post secondary institutions his supporters, ironically, despise.

MartinD28 - 11/23/2017 at 06:42 PM

"A former prosecutor who worked alongside GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore in the 1980s said it was “common knowledge” at the time that he dated high school girls."

Add her to the list of those who were paid to make up stuff that one just can't make up...right? To not to believe is to turn the head the other direction and believe in Roy, a hypocrite who hides behind religion. He plays well to religious zealots.

I think it means a percentage of people in Alabama want to turn the clock back 50 years. What Moore said about federal legislation passed in 1965 being when this country went downhill should be concerning to us all.

BoytonBrother - 11/27/2017 at 09:29 PM

Trump’s followers will elect him since he hasn’t condemned him. It just begs the question - what else will Trump supporters allow in their home? So far, they allow mocking the handicapped, profanity in campaign speeches, the urging of violence in exchange for money, attacks on American judges and politicians but praise for foreign dictators, staff indictments, investigations of collusion, Nazi sympathy, childish twitter tirades with everyone, name-calling, bullying, lawsuits, federal court rulings against him, and the list goes on. To see these things, and give it a pass, is a reflection of your character, and has nothing to do politics. To allow it in your home, which the voters have done, is self-destructive toward yourselves - not towards the liberals you were hoping to affect.

I don't know...seems to be affecting you more than you suggest!

It didn’t matter when Trump was accused, so it won’t matter this time either.

BrerRabbit - 11/27/2017 at 10:58 PM

They are like the Saviors in the Walking Dead. "I Am Negan".

BoytonBrother - 11/28/2017 at 02:49 AM

He'll most likely win, along with a Trump re-election. There are too many who want to rewind the clock to the Mad Men days. Luckily, they'll die out soon and become a miniscule minority in a few years.

jkeller - 11/28/2017 at 03:08 AM

If Moore wins, no Alabaman should ever complain about southern stereotypes again.

No, it will prove that the stereotype of the dumb Alabaman has some merit. Most stereotypes are actually based on fact and actions of those who are pigeonholed . But I realize that it doesn't cover everybody. Still, if the so called evangelicals can support a pedophile, they can't be either very bright or very Christian. But you know all of this, you just like to troll people.

Conservative stereotypes of California, Chicago, etc, though...all good, anytime.

Now we all did what we could do.

BoytonBrother - 12/1/2017 at 01:56 AM

There’s no “if” Roy Moore wins. He IS going to win. He’s got it in the bag. This revelation only helped him secure it. They will come out in droves to vote him in simply to spite liberals, in their mind.

2112 - 12/1/2017 at 02:39 AM

Conservatives love their pedophiles. First Trump, now Moore. The moral majority cares nothing about morals anymore. The only thing that matters anymore is the "R" after their name, and whoever the liberals hate the most regardless of reason is the one they'll choose.

Maybe they think that "R" stands for "religious" and "D" stands for "devil".
