Thread: Should Al Franken resign?

OriginalGoober - 11/17/2017 at 12:44 AM

Not going to ask who would vote for this guy since hes already elected, but should he do the right thing and resign? Sexsual assult is a serious charge and should not be tolerated. Apparently, the young woman in the photo wasn't in on the gag, so she feel violated.

Muleman1994 - 11/17/2017 at 01:57 AM

Resignation?
Not going to happen.

He is a Democrat so any moral obligation is not a factor.

Al was elected a Senator by less than 300 votes in a highly questionable election after failing on "Air America" as a talk radio leftie.

Bill Clinton got away with sexually assaulting and raping many women.
The bar was lowered a long time ago.

Seriously goob - you ask that question and don't mention the pu$$y grabber in chief in the WH? Apparently the double digit number of women who claim Donnie groped them felt violated.

Still waiting for Trump to follow through and sue them like he said he would. goob - why is he stalling?

OK, Franken should resign. Trump should also resign for the same reason. Fair enough?

MartinD28 - 11/17/2017 at 03:27 AM

Trump tweeting about Al. It's a good thing that the pu$$y grabber is pure and his past is void of groping women. Tweet on, Mr. Prez.

Trump & Roy will make a good team in the swamp.

BoytonBrother - 11/17/2017 at 12:07 PM

That photo is obviously fake and doctored, and created by the fake conservative media.

BoytonBrother - 11/17/2017 at 01:11 PM

I second the notion that both Al Franken and Trump should resign.

Why?

Al Franken did grope women and there is proof.

The handful of Donald Trump's "accusers" were obviously lying. Everyone of them disappeared by election day and the only one of them who filed a lawsuit dropped the suit and cannot be found by the corrupt liberal media.

If the left didn't have double standards they would have no standards at all.

BillyBlastoff - 11/17/2017 at 03:26 PM

I'm ashamed of Al. I'm sorry his good work will be forever tainted by this asinine move. I'm glad the Senate Ethics Committee will be carrying out an investigation.

To suggest he should resign while supporting Trump is pure hypocrisy. This 2016 NPR article names the women and allegations against Trump. I was going to cut and paste but the allegations are quite lengthy.

How were they "obviously" lying? What evidence do you have?

IPowrie - 11/17/2017 at 03:41 PM

Trumps insult of Franken makes no sense. Why is he calling him the scientist that created the monster?

On a serious note sexual harrasement is a serious issue that affects people from all walks of life. As a country we need to work together to fix the problem.

Trump is a good businessman who was elected to the Presidency.

Franken was mostly a comedy writer for SNL. He was very successful while he was there.

Trump is a good businessman who had multiple bankruptcies.

At this point you are either just trolling us, completely uninformed or a die hard Republican apologist.

I think it is a combination of all three.

Trump admitted on tape that he grabbed women by the pussy. Are you saying that Trump lied? Because he either sexual assulted women or he lied. It's one or the other.

I can live with Al Franken not stepping down... Unfortunately the far left has zero tolerance.... Very dangerous and leads to group think and political correctness.

sexuallity is an intersting topic, and how we apply it. i mean this in general.

StratDal - 12/7/2017 at 04:24 AM

Yes.

lukester420 - 12/7/2017 at 03:38 PM

Yes he should resign. ANY elected official owes it to his/her constituents to uphold a certain standard of acceptable social behavior as well as benefiting the community they were elected to represent.

That being said, Trump should resign and Roy Moore should drop out of the race. But of course anything negative about Trumpolini has to be fake news, just ask him.
Muledouche speaks of hypocrisy and double standards but wouldn’t believe anything negative about his orange führer. Geez life must be scary with those evil dems out to destroy you and your white privilege at any cost, no wonder you never leave the safety of your computer and your alt right propaganda

P.s.
If having a daddy’s money to fall back on and bail you out every time you fail miserably, then yes Trump is a good businessman.

They tried that yesterday. I was ok with the outcome. The point you missed was in reference to the part you left out. I fixed it. If you aren't earning big bucks at CNN you certainly could be!

Wow, loser is all you can come up with huh? I have nothing to get over, the caricature of an uneducated blind rube you portray on a daily basis provides me hours of entertainment. Funny how you spout insults, but never have any legitimate rebuttals to people calling you out for what you are, a blind follower of the alt right causes with no ability to think for himself baaaaah baaaaah blind-sheep.

Now that Al has announced he’s stepping down will you hold your beloved orange führer to the same standard? Of course not, because there’s no “proof” and holding an “r” to the same standard as “d” would require you to make your own decision for once in your life. BAAAAAH
