Thread: CNN sued for racial discrimination

Fake News, formally known as CNN, called racist:

Busted! CNN sued for racial discrimination
November 10, 2017

A lawsuit once dismissed is being re-filed against the corrupt, CNN.
For a news outlet that is known for calling Trump and his supports “racist”, racial discrimination and sexual discrimination are not new claims against the corrupt television channel.

An Atlanta lawyer who filed the first case, is refiling with a new set of plaintiffs and even more alleged victims.

Alleged racial discrimination is “as abhorrent as all of the sexual harassment cases that are rightfully now being prosecuted,” lawyer Daniel R. Meachumm told Fox News. “Educated, well-intentioned, experienced and talented African-Americans are being discriminated against.”

In the first case filed, Celeslie Henley who worked for CNN for seven years reported that she was allegedly fired after emailing the human resource department about discriminatory treatment.

The report also claimed that African American worked had a “glass ceiling” on their career paths.
The first suit filed had a whopping total of 175 plaintiffs–that is a lot of people again the network!
Another 30 victims have come forward reporting complaints against the network since the dismissal of the first lawsuit.

“We are drafting a new complaint, line by line, addressing the issues that he outlined for us,” Meachum said.

The attorney provided that he understands that proving discrimination in any case can be “challenging”, but that the 205 plaintiffs involved “are not overly sensitive, walking around with chips on their shoulder.”

The new report will be filed sometime by the end of the year once necessary paperwork has been gathered for the 30 new plaintiffs.

There is no telling what is the biggest irony of all, is it Don Lemon calling all Trump supports “complicit in racism” or could it be Ana Navarro calling Trump a “misogynist racist bigoted pig”?

For a network accused of having their own racial discrimination issues, they sure are quick to accuse others.

“With the information that we have, and will get during discovery, I think we will be able to survive a motion for summary judgement. At that point, I think we will be victorious,” Meachum said.

So, the plaintiffs don’t exist, the lawyers don’t exist, the lawsuit filed in Georgia District Court doesn’t really exist.

Right pops.
The only thing that doesn’t exist here is your brain.

According to Mule, civil suits are proven guilt when filed but indictments are proof of innocence.

Cable News Ratings Are out and Hannity's on Top — But Where's CNN?
ijr.com |

Conservative Fox News host Sean Hannity recently moved back to his old 9 p.m. ET slot and is now blowing the doors off the cable news competition.

Deadline Hollywood reported that the Fox News host’s show is en fuego, handily beating MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. The news site reported he won his biggest audience numbers for the network and was the top cable news show in October:

Sean Hannity’s Fox News Channel program was the most-watched cable news program for the month of October, delivering 3.2 million total viewers and 686K in the 25-54 news demographic. In total viewers, that’s Hannity’s second largest haul ever, and up 15% compared to same month last year. In the demo, Hannity jumped 27% in its first full month back at 9 PM

TV Newser listed the top cable news shows:

Hannity, Tucker Carlson’s show and Maddow were also the top three shows in the coveted 25-to-54-year-old demo — which is what advertisers use as their guide to buy commercial airtime.
But the ratings were excruciating for one network.

What happened to CNN?

The network was labeled as “fake news” for its coverage of the 2016 campaign by President Donald Trump, who has said it several times:

And a stranger hurled the insult during a live broadcast Tuesday night:

As you can see in the above list, CNN shows were not represented in the overall top 10 shows at all.
In fact, according to TV Newser, CNN has no shows in the top 20.

You have to go to No. 25 in total viewers before a CNN program turns up:

Anderson Cooper 360 was CNN’s top show for October (No. 25 in total viewers / No. 11 among A25-54).

Deadline Hollywood reported that all news networks are down year over year, since the election last year garnered a lot more attention:

For FNC, that meant a 26% decline in total viewers (to 2.26M) and a 28% news-demo dropp (to 477K).

MSNBC weathered the change best, declining 6% in the demo (to 1.58M) and 19% in the demo (to 349K).

But look at CNN’s numbers:

CNN took the biggest hit: down 52% in total viewers (to 919K) and down 54% in the key age bracket (to 325K).

Put a simpler way, CNN has lost slightly more than half of its viewers since this time last year. Half.
CNN has a bit of work to do to win back its viewers and their trust.

IJR's numbers are exactly in line with The Nielsen Ratings.
Fox News is still the most watched and most trusted.
Fake News (formally known as CNN) ratings have in the toilet.

Ha ha
