Thread: Clinton campaign, DNC paid for research that led to Russia dossier

OriginalGoober - 10/25/2017 at 01:16 AM

Well this seems like it should have been disclosed, but its another Russia story fail that leftists really wanted so badly to believe was true.

Thx for the article Goob - I actually read it, looks like the Republicans got the ball rolling on this:

from the article you posted the link to:

Fusion GPS’s work researching Trump began during the Republican presidential primaries, when the GOP donor paid for the firm to investigate the real estate magnate’s background.

Fusion GPS did not start off looking at Trump’s Russia ties but quickly realized that those relationships were extensive . . ..

When the Republican donor stopped paying for the research, Elias, acting on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, agreed to pay for the work to continue. The Democrats paid for research, including by Fusion GPS, because of concerns that little was known about Trump and his business interests . . .

Goob, it is called oppo research. Both parties do it to find weak spots in the other party's candidate. There is nothing wrong with it. Get over it.

I guess Goober’s decision on whether to believe the Washington Post depends on the article now - what a complete dipsh*t he is, lol.

BillyBlastoff - 10/25/2017 at 08:03 PM

Incredible that the sourcing of the information is more important that the actual information.

Hey GooB? Are you in to women peeing on you too? Not that I want to know, but I gotta wonder if you support the President on his Golden Showers, why?

pops42 - 10/25/2017 at 08:23 PM

You are loved glueber trump loves the stupid!.

BoytonBrother - 10/25/2017 at 09:52 PM

You know what, goober has sold me. The dems and leftists are the root of all our problems. Thank you Goober, for teaching me the ways of the world with your astute internet findings to prove once and for all that we should all hate Democrats.

OriginalGoober - 10/26/2017 at 01:16 AM

Only from the mind of democrats springs a constant stream of ridiculous fake news. If its just opposition research, why did Crooked Hillary deny knowing anything about this? I'll snswer, its because it was a lame attempt at a character smear filled with lies.

It was oppo research. It was started by the Republicans and when they stopped paying, the Dems stepped in.

OriginalGoober - 10/26/2017 at 02:18 AM

It was democratic collusion with Russia. (Oops!) Its only an outrage when democrats are trying hopelessly blaming republicans for scheming with russia. So far it looks like the only colluding evidence implicates democrats.

Hey Goob, you posted the WaPo article but obviously did not read it. Nowhere in it does it say that the DNC colluded with or got any info from Russia. But keep up the good work. You are a typical fact deprived Trumpanzee.

BoytonBrother - 10/26/2017 at 01:47 PM

Don’t you all know that Democrats are wrong and bad? What’s wrong with you all for not seeing that? I mean, Goob is pointing it out all so clearly. He even provided a link! What more do you need to learn?

Maybe someone can fill me in on why Republicans think this is a big deal. So the Clinton campaign and the DNC paid for some research. Why is this surprising or illegal? It's not like they colluded with Russia like the Trump campaign did (or at least tried to do). This just seems like a poor excuse of a distraction. As the Republicans like to say, a big Nothing Burger, except this time it is.

IPowrie - 10/27/2017 at 12:17 PM

Wonder if Goob is using this to distract us from the Republicans bad tax plan and ending net neutrality

Goober needs a boogeyman to deal with his frustrations in life, that's the explanation.

Or that Republicans just voted to no longer allow class action lawsuits against large financial firms. Republicans should no longer be allowed to complain when huge banks rip them off. Your guys allowed it to happen and they now have no incentive to not do it.

Class action settlements only make lawyers wealthy. The typical award is usually not enough to buy dinner.

That is not true. Now it will mean there is nothing to sto banks to commit fraud. Your logic is weak.

There is no incentive for banks and other financial institutions not to rip you off. Now that the inmates run the institution, expect a lot more issues going forward. Goober is no longer allowed to complain if his identity is stolen due to a bank error or if his 401K is drained due to fraud. He will be allowed to thank his Republican senator and representative who voted for them.

So after I read the article that Goob posted, I have a question.....what is the crime? It should be easy to answer since she’s so crooked.
