Thanks Sue! OMG, I'm still in shock. I've been walking into walls all day long. It was totally off the charts! When they come back this summer, YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM! You won't believe it!!!

soulstew2 - 11/11/2008 at 01:38 AM

Great pics!!! We saw them in Toronto last Friday and we were blown away. My pics aren't anywhere near as good as yours. We were in the 11th row, I got some okay pics and a few okay vids (one of the animated video that opens the show) with our tiny pocket digital.....enough to make good keepsakes of the show.

We wanna go again soon too.....just have to wait for that ringing in my ears to stop

lolasdeb - 11/11/2008 at 05:21 PM

Great pics and review, Marge! (in other words ... YAR! ) Looks like these guys are bringing their 'A' game.

I was there in TO Friday also and I must say it was a highlight show for me for 2008. Took my eight year old and he loved it. I said to him on the way home that it was the best time that I have had with him since he has bee alive! Check it out if ya get a chance I think it will be the last tour.

So cute that you brought your 8 year old. We brought our 13 year old. He was over the moon about it but I kept thinking, when he grows up he'll be pretty proud that he saw some of the world's greatest...including The Allman Brothers Band! I'm just maing sure my ids get a proper education afterall!!

So from that I read it as the first NYC/MSG show (Wed) might be the way to go w/r/t finding tickets..because on the second night, the floor configuration will have already been arranged. I would try for tomorrow night's show. (Plus they'll be rested after three full days off since Boston) Wait til you see BRIAN & ANGUS!! THEY ARE A ROCKIN RIOT OUT THERE!

He is a Brothers veteran (5 shows)! I will be going again in January with his older brother as I could only get two for each show.

The little Rocka! What a cutie. And a lucky duck to have a Dad that takes him to see the greats!

Gotta keep the music alive for future generations to come.

Awesome! Marge I've already seen the guys on this tour - caught the final rehearsal show in Wilkes Barre. But once wasn't enough - I wanna see the whole setlist, and I want to see it at MSG in a packed house!

I'm sick about it but I just cannot get to NYC tomorrow or Thursday. I"m going to see The Kinds of Leon tomorrow (3rd time) and I have a school thing on Thursday that I shouldn't miss otherwise I would be there so fast. It rocked so hard. It's all I can think about. I'm totally POSSESSED, under the spell of AC/DC!!!
All I can do is hope like hell they announce more dates for a summer tour.

Marge15 - 11/11/2008 at 06:17 PM

I hope they do a show in Providence. I don't know what it is but the Rhodies love to party! That's the wildest crowd around.

hotlantatim - 11/11/2008 at 06:38 PM

Marge...you describe that outfit had on in your blog, but then only show us pictures of your friends??? You can't leave us hanging like that!

That is awesome Marge. I am going tomorrow night at MSG. I have seen them a few times before, and can't wait for tomorrow night. Did they go on pretty much at 8PM or was there an opener?

I just read the article in RS about them. Brian Johnson claims that Angus is like Clark Kent. He sits in silence until they tell him, "okay, 20 minutes until show time". He then disappears and returns in that school boy outfit and is a totally different person for the next 2 hours. Imagine running around like that every night when you are 53. He has to be hurting.

In Toronto the opener, "The Answer" didn't come on at all! Their equipment was all set up then at about 8:00 it was announced that they weren't going to show.....traffic or something like that. I think AC/DC went on at around 9......and if you go make absolutely sure you are in your seat when the show starts...you DON'T want to miss the start.

Yeah I heard that about Angus. The outfit transforms him. (I know the feeling!)
I'm so glad you are going tomorrow night rather than Thursday. I think Thursday will be good too but after three full days of rest, the boys will be on fire tomorrow night!
The production is very tight. The Answer went on at 8pm and played for about 45 mins. The changeover was no more than 20 mins...maybe less. AC/DC started right up...everything, everyone was charged up and ready to rock non stop for about an hour and 45 minutes.

Marge15 - 11/12/2008 at 09:45 PM

OMG!!! YOU DID???? That is just too awesome. Have a GREAT time!
Can't wait to see pictures!

jim - 11/12/2008 at 10:00 PM

Yeah AC/DC!
Bow down.

jim - 11/13/2008 at 06:38 PM

Last night was great, as usual with these guys. Highlights for me were The Jack, Whole Lotta Rosie, Shoot to Thrill, T.N.T, Rock n Roll Train and War Machine. They let it fly on every song though.

I loved the intro animation in the beginning of the show. I found that highly amuzing.

Marge15 - 11/13/2008 at 07:16 PM

Yeah!! Love those pics!! AC/DC is huge!
SO JEALOUS you get to go again.
I'm going to Kings of Leon again tonight but I'm sure no one who's going to AC/DC cares about the KOL!
LOL

brendonw - 11/13/2008 at 08:06 PM

The Rock and Roll Train/Intro is a Huge highlight. Whole Lotta Rosie is always a classic! I really enjoyed Hells Bells and Highway to Hell. Hek, every Frickin' song is just in your face kick arse if you ask me. 1:45 of Pure energy. I was dragging hard this morning but the juices are starting to flow again as I'm typing this. Can't Wait
Marge, I'm a big KOL fan and will be at their MSG show in late Jan. Enjoy yours tonight.

Marge15 - 11/13/2008 at 08:14 PM

It was so good last night, I'm bustin out of parent/teacher night early and going to see them again! I'm not dragging at all.

fender31 - 11/13/2008 at 11:04 PM

rottinpeach - 11/13/2008 at 11:13 PM

jszfunk - 11/14/2008 at 10:38 AM

I sa them in Indy this tour and it was great. The new songs fit in ver well. War Machine is a great concert song. I know alot of people don't care for Brian, but I love to hear his vocals.
