Thread: string cheese last night

great show...these guys can really play and they get into just about any and every kind of music...opened the second set with pink floyds comfortably numb and then right into miles davis so what...closed the night withan appearance of the blind boys of alabama and some great gospel between some incredible jamming...with the allmans away from the beacon till next year these guys play some of the best music out there....check em out if you havent paid attention to them

a little late to be checking them out...they're done after this summer.

I'm a fan of old cheese but the new **** is really out there.

I like SCI,have not seen them in a couple of years. They are good players,really like Kyle Hollingsworth on the keys.Will be interested in what he does next.

Had a guy in front of me at RedRocks in 04 tell me he hated them,when I asked him why ,he said" they Lack Soul". I can see his point as they are based out of Bluegrass instead of the blues.Michael kang FOLDED when he played with warren and derek,it was sad,he came with nothing,not what ya want to do on IMOER and Southbound,hard to hide.

i'm going sat night. not a big fan but i enjoy their shows. seen them 4 times. and since they are quitting after this summer i figured it would be good to see them one more time.
