I saw Derek 20 years ago with just drums & bass backing him up & he was damn impressive.
He mostly played Nugent stuff & it sounded as if Ted was there himself.

wish he would release some new material. i thought ted said holmes was supposed to sing some tunes on the next nugent solo album

Derek St. Holmes & Brad Whitford (who sat in with ABB a few nights ago) did a record in the early 80's and it's a guitar fest from start to finish. Catchy tunes, great riffs, excellent vocals. It's like all the frustration from their previous bands manifested itself in some stellar music.
