Which Friday would that be?
This Friday or December 3rd?

Alwar - 11/24/2010 at 07:17 PM

It appears that it is this Friday - That's really not good news if you know what I mean.

funkyfitter - 11/24/2010 at 07:29 PM

Just AMEX card holders ? I guess being a peach corps member isn't what it used to be.

emr - 11/24/2010 at 07:36 PM

Fan club presale the same time.

Still not good news; fan club presale always preceded this. Don't get two shots. Hope the allocation for the fan club is still the same.

After the cancellations last year seems that all parties want to maximized sales - not loyalty

Anyone think they tack on addional shows? Since they are back at the Beacon, I'm guessing these shows sell out rather quickly. We could get another 2-5 shows the next week. As of now there is nothing scheduled there week of March 21.

That's a given. They will tack on more shows - most likely end on the 26th.

I think they are putting tickets on sale earlier and having both presales early (at the same time) in an attempt to gauge the demand and add shows IF THE DEMAND IS THERE. Yes, moving uptown hurt sales, but the economy still sucks. They don't want to be emarassed like last year.

Be careful these added shows where the ones they cancelled at the Palace which I found out to my cost.

I am thinking positive here.
20 years of sold out Beacon shows - the UPT last year was just a little bump in the road. And the people who went uptown had an awesome experience, myself included.
Prediction - The ABB will sell out every show up until March 26th, 2011.

I hope you're right. I too travelled uptown and had a great time. I just see weaker ticket sales in general for all artists. Hope this is different

steadyhorse - 11/25/2010 at 03:45 PM

I'm just glad there going back to the Beacon, I had a great time at the United Palace, good luck to everyone trying for tix tomorrow morning.

ooogie - 11/25/2010 at 03:46 PM

I have a good feeling that the "added" shows will sell well also.
Why don't they add 'em one or two shows at a time making sure they sell before adding more? They got till March!

NYCScammer - 11/26/2010 at 03:19 PM

Tried the AMEX Pre-sale. I'll going to try again later and if nothing I'm looking for comes up I'll try the Fan Club Pre-sale. I like the Lower Balcony, nothing worthwhile came up that I was interested in.

Be safe.

Mule75 - 11/26/2010 at 03:23 PM

PalmHead - 11/26/2010 at 04:47 PM

Me and my cronies got RowO seats 10-16 for March 14th. Yahooo!!!!!!! Hope to see some of my Brothers and Sisters on that night. This year only one night. But there is always Wanee!!!

nyc_barb - 11/26/2010 at 05:04 PM

March 10th and 14th. Happy with what I got from AMEX pre-sale!

TheyCameToBoston - 11/26/2010 at 07:05 PM

got lower balc tix for both 3/10 & 3/11 and I'm satisfield but could not pull any upper balc tix for either of those nights. but anyone else have similar experience?

Counselor - 11/26/2010 at 07:39 PM

Unfortuantely I didn't receive the Peach-o-Gram despite making sure my account is in order so I had to rely on Amex. Mostly what I saw were lots of tickets on the sides. I actually passed on 4 lower balcony row A because they were too far to the side. I'll try my luck in the general sale and see what happens.

I have noticed there are still plenty of Amex tix left and wondering if this is an indication that these shows are not going to sell as briskly as in years past. The story will be told after the first 1/2 hour of the general sale I guess, but I have a feeling tix are going to be easier to come by this year what with the economy and all. I think people just saying no to sky-high prices is a good thing.

Also I doubt many VIP tix sold, I looked for fun and it's easy to get tix up front if you're inclined to fork over big dough. I feel that there will be alot of up-front tix released later.

It's too early to tell but with so many Amex tix left and all those VIP tix unsold we may not see additional shows added this year. I have taken extra shows being added for granted in years past but with these prices and this economy it is in no way a given.
