Thread: One More Quick B&P for 3.....Thank You Masahiko

BigVic - 4/11/2007 at 01:51 AM

A while back I received a package from someone who said he had an uncirculated ABB show from '69. Naturally, I got pretty happy about the whole thing but before I went throwing it around this place I wanted to verify it was what I was told it was. After checking in with a friend of mine from here, I was referred to Masahiko who gladly agreed to do what he could with it. After the package was sent out to him, he got back to me with a good news/bad news situation. The bad news, if you can call it that, was the show is indeed in circulation so a new show was not unearthed, but the good news was that the disk I received is apparently a new cleaner partial source to what was already out there. Masahiko remastered the show, splicing in the new source I had sent him, and what resulted was one heck of a good sounding version of the show offered below here. So again, thank you to my friend Masahiko for your hard work and your unending kindness and generosity. Thank you also to freebrd1975 for setting this whole thing up as well! All that said, I'll take the first 3 to post. The show is 2 disks which can be sent to the address below.

As I said in my previous B&P YOU MUST BE ABLE TO MAIL PROMPTLY, MEANING IN THE NEXT 2-3 DAYS, IF YOU WANT YOUR DISKS BACK BEFORE SUMMER ENDS. I've got some reoffering obligations to meet coming up this week and those will likely be freebies, so that should be the last of me for what will hopefully be a short time.

Of course not taking a spot.

First of all, Vic, Thank you so much for your really great effort to re-offer this remaster.
Also thank you too to TheyCameToBoston for re-offer this.
I really really appreciate it.

Some notes for this remaster:
It's sorry that I have to say that this is a temporary test-remaster source.
Of course I did best all I can do now but some of my friends reported me as current circulated source is much powerful so there are something rest I have to do more.
Especially, after middle of YDLM, there are audience source patched and original source is very distorted by over input recording level, I did attempt to reduce distortion, and it was halfly successed I think, however, power of ABB plays reduced with, some opinions.
I think I have to do more for this source and please note that this is my test-remaster and please let me know how do you feel in the honest.

Thank you so much for all the folks here who are interested in this remaster and thank you so much for many friends who already have this and told me his/her opinions to me.
I really appreciate to all the friends here and I hope you enjoy this source whether this is temporary.

And thanks again Vic, please take care.
