Looks like August 7 & 8 in Boston...

I hope somewhere in between the Boston and Camden shows they play Hartford (I'm sure they most likely will) and bring RatDog along with them. I would enjoy that lineup much, much, much more than last year's Hartford show when the ABB opened for Tom Petty.

Thought for sure they would be at the end of the month with Susan on Cape Cod the 24th. Have played the end of the month thepast 3 years. Oh well thanks!

Bank of America Pavillion! Huh! Been asking for them to play there. Looks like this is the year!

How reliable is this? Showtimes listed at 11:59PM? Never heard of "Bluefish" but anytime an outfit like this has tix for sale to an event that hasn't even been offically announced yet it just makes me wonder...

cupofjo - 4/2/2007 at 03:24 PM

Just wont be the same not playing Greatwoods! The vibe is really special there.

I still think they may sneak it in there

It's pretty reliable. "Bluefish" is just one of hundreds of ticket "brokers" out there. A lot of times they get information in advance and post it, etc. The time could be an on-sale time. I know it's premature, and dates can change and/or be canceled. But they can do that after they're officially announced, too.

i'm right there with ya larry. possibly bobby steppin' out with the boys would be nice, or warren with ratdog...nice. in either case, i can only hope that the dodge center is not as packed with kids who go to just party and bring the place down.

Last year's crowd was unbeleiveably lame. The TP fans sat in their seats like they were at home watching VH1 and were very resentful of us who enjoy the live experience and wanted to dance at our seats. Even if the RatDog crowd is younger and just there for the party (which may of not be true, the RatDog-Phil & Friends show I saw at The Meadows in '01 was one of the best concert experiences I've ever had in my life - GREAT vibe all night long!), It'll be a releif to enjoy a hassle-free evening without being poked in back and asked (or told to) sit down.

pretty pricey lawn seats

rottinpeach - 4/3/2007 at 02:24 PM

It makes you wonder if all these ticket broker outfits are all the same people with different sites. I wonder where they get there tickets?????? I bought my daughter front row seats before, and have to admit being a little leary dealing with these outlets.

cleaneduphippy - 4/3/2007 at 02:34 PM

I would take these show listing with a "grain of salt". Lana is pretty good about posting shows when they have been comfirmed by ABB management. So I'll believe a date/location for an ABB show when I see it on the Home page or in Pollstar or an official announcement from the venue having the show. Everthing else is at best a "guess".

JimmyR - 4/3/2007 at 04:32 PM

Two Things

1) The brokers do "work" together. If you see one seat on a local brokers website, you can probably find the same ticket on another broker's site throughout the nation, but at a higher price.

2) Also, the amphitheaters try to sell season passes. Without having a schedule, the venues would not be able to sell these season packages. I can see a broker having season tickets for the lawn and also for the VIP (Boston show??) the broker already has a relationship with a customer who sells their tickets to the broker
