1 for my 2 Sons

I brought my two sons aged 12 and 14 to see the Allman Brothers Band in Syracuse, NY at the New York State Fair on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 to see their 30th anniversary tour. My sons were just getting into music and they thought they liked the new punk bands, so like a good dad I dragged them to see the ABB. The reaction was priceless the ABB opened with the classic Don't Want You No More/It's Not My Cross to Bear the power from the stage was amazing, I was getting chills when It's Not My Cross to Bear ended I looked over to them, their jaws were hanging open and I heard a heartfelt “wow” under their breath coming out, they haven’t looked at pop music the same way since!
