A Message From Jaimoe

Posted on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 - 03:24 AM

"Jaimoe here. To whom it may interest, I am playing 2/27/03 at Club Mesa , 802 Columbus @ 100th, New York City with The Richard Boulger Quintet featuring Jay Collins, saxophones. Richard & Jay are two of the horn players in "Gregg Allman & Friends. We had a ball on the 13th. Charles "Honeyboy" Otis came by and gave me an "A+". He is my teacher, father, big brother, etc. Dennis Davis, drummer, I've known since my "Sea Level" days. Dennis played with David Boye, George Benson, Stevie Wonder and is now playing with Roy Ayers. A cat sat in and sang a song, great singer. But more so the piano & bass player are from Paris. They would discuss songs in French before we would play. Cool Kool Kuul. Ever who's out there do not miss it on the 27th. Be there or be square. Peace. Jaimoe 2/18/03 "
